Time goes on and many things happen, the passage of time is subjective, there are good arguments for living in the now but the past is import to who we have become

Terminator 2 & Nirvana's Nevermind both hit 20yrs ago round about now...

Both found their way to my corner of the world two or three yrs later, but had no less impact. looking back now its odd to think how young they all are how much pressure the successes must have caused to those involved.
The ebb and flow of life means we are destined to repeat our mistakes and miss opportunities for fear of upsetting others or being judged, things don't alway pan out as planned, but sometimes, just sometimes they turn out better

for some at least they can hold on to immortality gone but not forgotten thanks to cable TV & the Internetz :)

when i was young we lived on a farm,

Child labour was the norm...

One time i had to take empty troughs away from the Cows with Calf in the Byre
one particular Cow took offence at this imposition and head-butted my tiny frame across the concrete to show her displeasure. I went back to the house crying, my daddy did not take kindly to the Cow's behaviour (later christened 'Biff') so went and booted the crap out of it. This was many years ago and im sure now he would probably be arrested for animal cruelty, but she didnt do it again.

goes to prove he was mad long before the brain damage :)

not really but made you look!

i think i will stop using spellcheck so much, I am aware im rubish at spelling but find it more interesting to keep those markers in there -typos are different and can be corrected as they reveal nothing except my inability to touchtype. although when i think about it they do demonstrate how far from thew baseline I am currently operating at due to lack of sleep etc. I have a basic understanding of both grammar and spelling so im not as stupid (dumb blonde) as I alow people to think but for my own reflection it is useful to keep an eye on these things

'social media' really is the poor man's therapy
its like life, but once removed, filtered, and protected from the grimy germ ridden hands of the populus

It is worrying how little some folk understand of just how much they are giving away about themselves.
Narcissism and confidence may be endearing traits, personally I like the excuse of Naivety but know enough to be at least a little sensible about it.
I dont even begin to want to know the extent google (among others) permeates my life and knows about me...
what concerns me more is the fact they can sell me stuff based on this information. Yes, most items will be life improving-ly innocuous but sinister forces are always afoot, so with a weak mind its difficult to avoid the onslaught of persuasion.

I am agonizing (only a little bit) over whether i should include links that monetise the blog but as i dont exactly have a mass following i doubt it will be of much significance. If you are gullible enough to want to give your cash away I take all major credit cards, Cheques, Paypal, first born children, Cold hard cash...

if nothing else try not to let them influence you
make informed decisions, not unsolicited ones
and if you find that difficult remember there is always an off switch.

I’ve never liked Facebook, at least Google are a little more open about their data mining (only a bit). This Blog i guess is about Perspective and trying to find my feet...

Since Easter weekend and the 9 months leading up to it there has been much change in my life, some creative problem solving has been necessary at times - I'm pretty sure there is plenty still to learn so at least I can try to keep a load of it all in the same place so i dont have to re-learn it again
